Ysgol Penllergaer School
Ysgol Gynradd Penllergaer a adeiladwyd yn 1882. Dywed yr enw ar dalcen yr adeilad 'Gorseinon Board School'. Enw gwreiddiol y pentre oedd Corseinon Penllergaer Primary School build in 1882. The nameplate 'Gorseinon Board School' can be seen on its gable end, Corseinon (trans. Eynon's fen) being the original name of the village.

Observatory at former Penllergare Estate
The observatory was built in 1851 by John Dillwyn Llewelyn. It was adjacent to the mansion house which has since been demolished and replaced by council offices. Old Llangafelach Road
A strangely wide residential road until you realise that this was originally part of the A48 trunk road to South Wales - the 3 lane structure of the road is still barely visible as are a few surviving catseyes.
