Sir Rhys ap Thomas's Tomb
Now in St Peter's Church, Carmarthen
Sir Rhys was instrumental in the accession of Henry Tudor to the throne of England in 1485. Henry Tudor became Henry the Seventh, the founder of the great Tudor dynasty. Rhys ap Thomas led an army from Carmarthenshire to fight for Henry at the Battle of Bosworth

St Peters Church

The wall has been incorporated into an extension to No.1 Priory St.
The mark was included as a side level from Carmarthen FBM on the Carmarthen to Llandovery line of the Second Geodetic Levelling of England & Wales in 1913-1914. It was used on the Carmarthen to Abergavenny branch line (Carmarthen, Llanelly, Neath, Merthyr Tydfil & Abergavenny). It was levelled with a height of 77.999' above OD (Newlyn).
