Grade II listed St David's Priory Church, Swansea
The present Roman Catholic church dates from 1847, though it was much smaller originally. The first building accommodated c150 people. It was built in the gothic style, with chancel, nave, single aisle, and stained glass windows. In 1864 the building was extended by 30 feet, an organ was installed, and a presbytery (house for the priests) was added. There have been various renovations since then.
Grade II listed in March 1987.

An entrance to St David's Shopping Centre, Swansea
Viewed from St David's Place.
The BBC reported in December 2011 that large parts of St David's Shopping Centre are to be demolished. The site has been bought by the city council and the Welsh government as part of the regeneration plans for the city centre. The derelict indoor market hall and other vacant units built in the early 1980s will be demolished and used for car parking in the short term. Premises such as Iceland and Crane's Music Instruments are not affected.
