Sheffield & Tinsley Canal beside Sheffield Arena
With the Supertram line to the right, electricity power lines, the lighting columns for the Don Valley Bowl amidst the trees, and the taller lighting towers of Don Valley Stadium further away. The Don Valley Stadium that is almost no more, the stands now demolished. The towers will be following, probably before many will view this picture.

Coleridge Road Bridge over the Tinsley Canal
This picture was taken on a gloomy Monday in late February. The plaque on the right of the structure gives the bridge a more evocative name which sadly escapes me at present.

Brown Bayley Bridge, Sheffield & Tinsley Canal
The Brown Bayley Bridge was built in 1993 to provide pedestrian access over the Sheffield & Tinsley Canal to the Don Valley Stadium and surrounding area. The bridge takes its name from the former Brown Bayley Steel Works which, until the decline of the steel industry, had occupied the site where the Don Valley Stadium and Sheffield Arena were subsequently built.
