Helpful underpass
Probably seemed a good idea at the time, but there's no path leading away from the eastern end - except to a locked gate. There could be if some steps or a slope had been provided to the left of this view.

A telling street scene?
The blue bin men from outsourced Veolia have been, leaving an empty on the pavement, possibly having held either paper, or plastic, glass and cans. A new LED lamp has just been installed. Men are about to complete relaying the pavement outside one house. The road surface remains to be done. This is all part of the outsourced Amey contract to replace all Sheffield's street lamps with new LED models, and resurface all roads and pavements, all within 5 years. Then for 20 years they will be maintained by Amey.
