Toll Bar Cottage
Attractive stone toll house on the former Barnby Moor to Rotherham Turnpike. This was established in 1826, so the building is probably of about this date.

Roman Catholic Church of St Helen, Oldcotes
Built 1869-71 by the Catholic owner of Hermeston Hall, Edward Challoner, at a time when the village did not have its own Anglican church, being joined with Styrrup. Designed by S J Nicholl, Listed Grade II. (The attached rectory is not part of the listing, but has an impressive doorway http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/4320248 )
