Built 1869-71 by the Catholic owner of Hermeston Hall, Edward Challoner, at a time when the village did not have its own Anglican church, being joined with Styrrup. Designed by S J Nicholl, Listed Grade II. (The attached rectory is not part of the listing, but has an impressive doorway http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/4320248 )
