Wombwell Foundry Gates
Wombwell Foundry no longer exists with the land on which it stood now being developed into a housing estate. These gates, originally from the 'back entrance' to the Foundry have been preserved and are now a feature within the development ... well done to the developers for preserving them. Image

Platelayer's hut, Wombwell
In the shadow of Hough Lane bridge Image I doubt that present day railway workers still use these old huts - there are strict employee welfare standards now that this would not satisfy.
