Worsbrough Heritage Memorial
Created by Worsbrough Industrial and Social History Society in 2014/15 to commemorate the industrial heritage of Worsbrough. Sited in the Dove Valley on the corner of the canal basin, bordering the A61 and West Street, Worsbrough Bridge.
The design and materials reflect the industrial heritage of Worsbrough: coal mining, iron making, glass blowing and engineering.

Worsbrough Canal Basin
Close to the junction of Park Road and West Street, formerly part of the Dearne and Dove Canal. It operated for over 100 years, serving the many collieries in the area up until 1906 when it closed, presumably replaced by the railways.

The Worsbrough terminus of the former branch canal
Fed by the nearby Worsbrough Reservoir. The 2.5 mile long Worsbrough section of the Dearne and Dove Canal opened in 1804. It linked Worsbrough to the seaport of Goole. The branch closed for navigation in 1906 and was abandoned in 1961.
