Old milestone
The last of the 1893/94 WRCC milestones set up by Gill & Frank Stead on the road eastwards to Oldcotes and Barnby Moor. The road shortly enters Bassetlaw, Nottinghamshire. The ground has been cleared and the milestone recently painted. Visible near the base are two places where bolts held the metal attachment to the backing stone. The backing stone has a hole in its top used by the Ordnance Survey. It is Grade II listed 335925.

E end of hamlet of Stone. Located on the North side of road, on narrow verge opp Horseshoe Lane. Metal plate attached to stone post, Brayshaw & Booth casting design, 19th century.

Cast iron post on stone pillar, North side of the A634, just West of Horseshoe Lane, next to bus stop, and West of the house 'Stone Chase'. Brayshaw & Booth iron casting erected by the County Council in the 19th century.
