Cast iron post on stone pillar, North side of the A634, just West of Horseshoe Lane, next to bus stop, and West of the house 'Stone Chase'. Brayshaw & Booth iron casting erected by the County Council in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : BARNBY / MOOR / 8 MILES : : ROTHERHAM / 9 MILES : : ROTHERHAM & BARNBY MOOR / ROAD / YEWS : : BRAYSHAW & BOOTH / MAKERS / LIVERSEDGE : Milestone Society National ID: YS_RMBM09.
