Pigeon Lofts, Cuthbert bank, Sheffield
There have been pigeon lofts on Cuthbert Bank for many years ... I remember them back in the 1970's ... but since Penistone Road was 'dualled' they have become much less visible and accessible. But some are still there, as seen in this view from Cuthbert Bank Road. The under construction St Paul's Tower is visible in the far distance.

The demolition of the main Presto Factory and Office Block has opened up this view of the University Arts Tower ... not seen from this position since the mid 60s when the Arts Tower was constructed The Presto building was built in 1963. See also ...
