Crownhill Road
Viewed from Bonet Lane, in the foreground, these 1960s(?) semi-detached houses lead the eye down the hill and around the corner. At which point the road joins the nearby A631.

Old milestone A631 Bawtry Road
The route between Tinsley and Bawtry, now A631, was turnpiked between 1760 and 1878. Bawtry was an important inland port and also on the Great North Road. Plated milestones were set up with just 3 remaining, all plateless. This stone is about 150m west of the late 19C West Riding stone.
