Rotherham Central railway station, Yorkshire
Opened in 1987 by British Rail on the line from Sheffield to Doncaster, this station replaced Masborough which was further from the town centre.
Forecourt as rebuilt in 2012, looking towards Sheffield. In 2018 it also became a tram-train stop on the tramline from Sheffield to Parkgate.

One small step for the tram-train...
Well actually, one small step for a £60 million over budget transport project. Launched only that morning https://www.sheffieldtelegraph.co.uk/news/transport/first-ever-tram-train-will-boost-both-sheffield-and-rotherham-s-economies-1-9413940 by Jo Johnson https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jo_Johnson and Dan Jarvis https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dan_Jarvis we got off this one at 15:09 at Rotherham https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rotherham_Central_railway_station You can just see it on the left heading for its destination at Parkgate https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parkgate,_South_Yorkshire On the right you can see one from Parkgate approaching the new tram-train stop. Some twenty minutes later it was derailed by a lorry https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-south-yorkshire-45976460 and we had to come home on a British Rail train.
