Rhythm & Booze
Off licence on Bellhouse Road. When I was a child this consisted a double-fronted shop (the bays on the first storey extended down to ground level. Called Kenyons the side nearest was a tobacconist (which I did not frequent), the far side was a Hornby and Airfix model shop (which I did).

Buses on Sicey Avenue, Firth Park
Firth Park is something of a focal point for the bus network in north Sheffield: two main corridor cross here, with a number of less frequent routes also serving the area. Here, one of Stagecoach's Alexander ALX300 bodied MAN 18.240HOCL single deckers loads at one of the main bus stops serving the Firth Park district centre. At this point, Sicey Avenue is one way and the zebra crossing in the left background is correspondingly narrow; therefore, when more than one bus attempts to use the bus stop, no traffic can get through until both buses move. On this occasion, the First operated double decker appears to have tried to escape but cannot quite squeeze past its rival.

Doorway to the Firth Park Clinic
I think it may have been purpose-built in the early days of the health service as a pre and post natal clinic.

Firth Park Roundabout
This roundabout has always had this gap through the centre as a memorial to the tram tracks which pass through. When the entrance to Firth Park (out of the frame to the left) was re-vamped these decorative gates where added. When I was growing up around here in the 1960s there were two country-style five-bar gates here. The road ahead is Stubbins Lane, I was stood on Firth Park Road.

The Firth Park roundabout
The current Sheffield "Supertram" comes nowhere near Firth Park. But tracks from the previous generation are preserved across the centre of this roundabout.
