Barrow Hill Memorial Club
On the side of this building - which must have once been a home from home for generations of coal miners and railway workers - a shiny engraved plaque remembers the dead of two world wars who left this industrial settlement to fight for their country.

Trains and beer!

Early Birds at Barrow Hill
The start of a long queue of photographers who had arranged early access to Barrow Hill to see the East Coast Giants on 8 February. The 2-day event attracted over 7,000 visitors.
