Entrance to 5 Low Pavement, Chesterfield
Thomas Lipton was a Glasgow grocer who developed a national chain of grocery stores. The name survives in the mosaic in the entrance; the tiling and glazed tile counter, just visible, date from the early 20th century, Art Nouveau style. Listed Grade II.
