Rhododendron in full flower
June is certainly the best time to see Rhododendron with all of their different coloured blossom. This one has beautiful pale violet blossom. A forest of stinging nettles precedes it. Behind it is the 17th. century Bullhouse Chapel.

The Dissenters' Chapel at Bullhouse
The Dissenters' Chapel of Bullhouse is one of the very oldest chapels in England. It was opened on 18th April 1692. It began as a Presbyterian meeting house after the Act of Toleration allowed non-conformist worship in 1689.For such a small chapel, it is interesting that its congregation in 1715 was 200 people.
