View from Gilbert Hill, Langsett, near Stocksbridge - 1
Gilbert Hill is a narrowish 'B' Road which forms a shortcut from the A616 to the A628 (or vice versa!)
The views from the hill, down the valley towards Stocksbridge and beyond,
makes stopping worthwhile … if you can find a safe spot!
Underbank Reservoir is the focal point in this view, with Wharncliffe Crags in the far distance
