Metal plate attached to stone post by the B6088, in parish of STOCKSBRIDGE (SHEFFIELD District), Manchester Road, Stocksbridge, in front of Fire Station, on South side of road. Brayshaw & Booth iron casting, erected by the County Council in the 19th century.

Wadsley, Langsett and Sheffield Road milestone
A milestone from the Wadsley, Langsett and Sheffield Road situated at 'Green.' As recent as the late C19th., this area and the whole of the western part of Bolsterstone Parish were still identified as the District of Green, after Green Farm at its centre.
