Hairdressers and Chippy, Burncoss Road, Chapeltown
I always believed the Chippy to be a modern extension on the front of an old house / shop ... but a picture taken in approx 1900 shows the same (or very similar) extension ... so much for beliefs!
The same picture shows the Hairdresser's as a house.

Chapeltown Library, Burncross Road, Chapeltown, Sheffield
This library building opened in 1987 as a replacement for, what was called, City Library on Lound Side. The City Library building was, compared to the 'new' building, a small wooden prefab type building.
