This building has replaced the toilet block … demolished in March 2008 … see … Image Nobody seems to know what it will be … with shops being the favourite guess. The difference in the brickwork is quite noticeable but will (hopefully) fade. See also … Image

Well Cottage, Towngate Road, Worrall
Described in the local 'Countryside Survey' as being built in 1867. A two storey cottage, with stone framed casement windows but with the stone mullions removed! There is a stone flag roof with gable ends finished with verge stones and corbels. There is a well in front of the cottage - hence the name. The extension to the right of the original building was constructed using stones from a similarly dated barn

Celebrating the 2012 Olympics at Worrall, near Oughtibridge
Superb addition to the grass bank in front of the United Reformed Chapel, spotted whilst driving home. I just had to go and get my camera and take some pictures. Well done to the Village Committee. See also ... Image

The 'Old Village School' in Worrall
Closed as a school in 1966 with the pupils transferring to nearby Oughtibridge. Now superbly converted into a private house.
