Mill Street and The Bank, Stoney Middleton
A distinctive row of village houses. The main road is distinctive enough with the limestone cliffs rising directly above the houses, but there is plenty more to see elsewhere on each side.

House in the Nook
These are quite a contrast with the majority of cottages in the Peak District, which tend to feature the local stone. The whitewashed walls, multi-paned windows and sandstone surrounds of doors and windows are reminiscent of cottages in the east of Scotland.

Roman Baths at Stoney Middleton
The baths are not Roman although Roman remains have been found locally. The curative waters were recognised in the early C18 and in C19 the baths were formed. They fell into disuse and were restored in the 1980's. The water in the roadside trough is apparently a constant 63 degrees.
