Enigmatic and lonesome stone gatepost on Woodhead Road, Sheffield 2
In the background, you can see "The Railway Hotel" and the modern "Copthorne Hotel", very close to Bramall Lane football ground. How long has that gatepost stood there? I imagine that if it could speak it would tell tales of agriculture, hedgerows and cart tracks.
