Former Heeley Bank School, Heeley Bank Road, Sheffield
A former school, now converted into flats ('Heeley Lofts'). It was built in 1880 to designs by E R Robson, a London architect, for the Sheffield School Board. It uses Robson's distinctive Renaissance Revival style but is built in local Yorkshire stone. He also designed the adjoining infants' school, not visible in this photo. https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1270454 The building fell into disuse after 2008 and suffered serious vandalism before being converted into housing in or around 2016. https://www.victoriansociety.org.uk/news/heeley-bank-school-sheffield https://www.28dayslater.co.uk/threads/heeley-bank-junior-school-sheffield-july-2016.110112/
