Nos. 35 and 36 Bowshaw
Ordnance Survey documents indicate that in 1961 a benchmark levelled at 157.400m above Newlyn Datum was verified on the side of the right hand house 1 foot from its front corner. Since then the porch extension has been added on the front of the house which may have covered the benchmark.

Farm track and houses by Sheffield Road
Sheffield Road is now the B6057, having been superseded by the A61 Dronfield bypass. The houses on the hill in the background are on Holmley Lane at the northern edge of Dronfield.

No.10 Bowshaw
Ordnance Survey documents indicate that in 1961 a benchmark levelled at 147.210m above Newlyn Datum was verified on the right hand side of the house at its front corner. It appears that the house has been extended on that face and rendered since then
