Path to Abbeydale Road
The path leads down from Cavendish Avenue past Abbeydale Park to Abbeydale Road. There are in fact two parallel tracks, this one and another the other side of the trees on the left. The route is called Water Lane and marked as a bridleway.

Cavendish Avenue, Dore
Two of the typically large houses on Cavendish Avenue are seen here from the end of Ashfurlong Road in this leafy suburb of Sheffield. Cavendish is the family name of the Duke of Devonshire (the Duke of Devonshire acquired the manor of Dore in 1742).
