Gatepost.
The gatepost has not been cut square but a rhombus shape so the path is straight to the house,not to the pavement.

A well-worn path down the grassy bank shows the route taken by many tram travellers from the houses above!

The Sportsman
There are two pubs within a few yards of each other here, this one survives but its neighbour has closed Image No prizes for the spelling on the blackboard advertising a televised football match though!
