Welcoming inside but not the most photogenic of pubs, sitting as it does slightly below the tarmac of Ringinglow Road.

Pub at Bents Green, Sheffield
The stone built "Hammer and Pincers" sits squat below the tarmac of Ringinglow Road. It is a very old pub - at least eighteenth century It stood adjacent to the Sheffield-Hathersage Turnpike road which it served both as a hostelry and as a smithy for the maintenance of carriages and re-shoeing of horses.
