To the right is the gas powered conventional station (the two low chimneys) near Dagenham Dock. In the background is one of two Norman Foster designed wind turbines that supply the power to Ford's Diesel engine plant. The rotor blades are 70m in diameter. The two turbines save 5700 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions each year.
