Field to the south of Eastern Avenue West
The land on either side of Eastern Avenue West between Mawney Road and Whalebone Lane North has not been built on. This is at the eastern end, just before the traffic lights at Mawney Road are reached. The back gardens on the left belong to the houses in Pretoria Road. The path ahead is not an official footpath. On the Ordnance Survey this area is still shown as allotments, whereas the large area of allotments that still exist are much further to the south.
