Bridge over River Rom
The road that crosses is Cornell Way to the left, Firbank Road to the right. A footpath along the river bank from the south ends here.

River Rom
You would guess, this stream being the Rom, that the town of Romford through which it flows took its name from the river.
But according to this article http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/River_Rom it's the other way round.
