Hyacinthoides x massartiana
These are Hybrid Bluebells (Hyacinthoides x massartiana) they are fairly small and low to the ground but do not have the characteristic drooping heads of native Bluebells Image these hybrids also have flowers around the stem instead of on one side only. However they are smaller and darker than the Spanish Bluebell Image These are in Branetts Wood in South Ockendon.
