Entrance to former bus garage in North Street, Romford
The service road in which the white van is parked once led to a garage used by Green Line Coaches during the 1930s. The garage was situated on the premises of Romford Ice & Cold Storage and closed in 1938. It is not to be confused with North Street bus garage which opened in 1953 and is still operational.

Taken from the end of Ingrave Road. A significant spot for me as many years ago my father worked for Bettaware Brushes - which occupied the site where the brick building ahead now stands.
