Farm outbuilding - unusual building materials
Outbuilding at Berwick Manor Farm. I don't know much about building materials, but I have never seen anything like this before. The building is made of breeze blocks, covered with these large, thin (about 1 inch) facing bricks. The building is now being used by a window-frame manufacturer.

Mature outbuildings at Berwick Manor Farm
These old farm outbuildings are now in business/industrial use, though there is obviously still agricultural activity going on here.

Berwick Pond
Yet another pleasant patch of water with private fishing rights, unsurprisingly on Berwick Pond Lane! Picture was taken from the road that divides the pond looking east.

Berwick Pond
There are two Berwick Ponds, either side of Berwick Pond Road. The western one seems to be a nature reserve whereas this, the eastern one, is a carp fishery.

The edge of the Green Belt
Just to the east of the Abbey Wood Estate is open countryside as seen here. It is surprising how quickly one is out into open country although no doubt if it was not for the Green Belt housing would have covered these fields. This footpath leads from Berwick Pond Road to the Abbey Wood Estate ahead.
