Fairview Industrial Estate
Fairview!?! Industrial Estate (someone had a good imagination) serves a wide variety of businesses; there are at least three removal and storage companies working from here. Crown Promotions had the best light for photography. They have offices in London, Southend & Brentwood. It's strange their website don’t mention Dagenham!

Forest Freight
This is Forest Freight’s depot located in Barlow Way on the Fairview Industrial Estate. The company is independent and privately owned and was established in 1972. It provides services in global logistics, transport and warehousing. The wind turbine in the background provides power for Ford's engine factory.

Freight entrance to Fairview Industrial Park
This is looking through a locked gate at the western entrance to Fairview Industrial Park as seen from Marsh Way. Just after I had taken the photograph a lorry opened the gate and passed through.

All the roads heading south off Marsh Way are private with security gates. I didn't go any further.

The sunset 20 minutes later
This was our location about 20 minutes later. We are now on the A13 just outside Rainham and approaching the Dagenham Ford Motor Works, and the sunset is still here in all its glory! This time, however, I managed to include street furniture and a nearby pylon in order to add to the silhouette effect. This view was taken from the London-bound A13 looking west-northwest.

The Centre for Engineering and Manufacturing Excellence (CEME) is up the road on the left and the Fairview Industrial Park is to the left. The A13 is where the pylon is located in the centre of the photograph.

In the grounds of CEME
This is in the grounds of the Centre for Engineering and Manufacturing Excellence (CEME). Marsh Way is just to the right here and the A13 is out of sight to the left but can clearly be heard from here.
