Ford's Stamping Operations
This is a picture of one of the remaining parts of Ford’s Dagenham operation. This is the stamping works. The road beside the plant is not a public right of way but is Ford's private road. The Art Deco building on the other side of the A1306 used to be the Princess Bowling Alley. It is now the “Mountain of Fire & Miracle Ministries”.

This island is at the junction of Heathway meeting the A13 dual carriageway, (on the right). A footpath passes through the red stone and phormium planting (alien style!).

Job Centre, Dagenham
On Chequers Lane. Strangely, or coincidently, a few hundred metres from Image, which according to wiki (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_Dagenham_assembly_plant ) will cease operations in Summer of 2013. Meaning around 1,000 jobs would be lost.
