Hurst Green station, 1992
View SE, towards East Grinstead, Lewes and Brighton on the line that branches right at Hurst Green Junction; to Eridge, Uckfield, Lewes and Brighton; Eridge, Polegate and Eastbourne, also Groombridge and Tunbridge Wells West, on the left branch. Services now run only as far as East Grinstead or Uckfield. This station was built new in 1961, opening on 12/6/61, as an upgrade of the Halt that had been situated 10 chains south. See also Image

Hurst Green station, 1992
View NW, towards Oxted, East Croydon and London (Victoria/London Bridge): ex-LB&SCR London - Oxted - Tunbridge Wells West, East Grinstead, Lewes, Brighton and Eastbourne lines. Services are now running only to East Grinstead and Uckfield. This station was newly built 12/6/61, 10 chains north of the previous Halt. See also Image

Hurst Green railway station, Surrey
Opened in 1961 by British Rail on the line from Oxted to Uckfield, this station replaced a smaller one on the far side of the road bridge in the distance. View south east towards Edenbridge and Uckfield.
