A23 approaching Gatwick Airport South Terminal
The road passes under a fair bit of the terminal with a clearance suitable for double decker buses (I am glad to say), but evidently not for some vehicles or their loads, judging by the scrape marks.

Duty free, Gatwick south terminal
You know those escape short cuts they have in IKEA - could they not have them at airport terminals to avoid the tedious traipsing through acres of shops selling stuff most people don't want? At least this is pretty deserted at 4:13 am, unlike the departure lounge at the other end.

Gatwick Expresses at Gatwick Airport
Unit 460 008 leaves platform 3 for the sidings south of the station, whilst a pair of 442 units await departure from platform 2 for Victoria. A minute or two later another pair of 442 units terminated at platform 1.
