Coldharbour cottages
These cottages are at the edge of the village near the junction of Coldharbour Lane and Anstie Lane. The signs are part of the continuing campaign to prevent oil drilling taking place in the area.

Cottages at Coldharbour
Coldharbour is a village up in the hills. This row of cottages stands rather apart from the rest of the settlement, at its northernmost end. The cottage nearest the camera - 'White Cottage' - carries the date 1640. Just across the road, the land falls away steeply, giving a view to the North Downs, some miles to the north.
This shot was taken in tricky lighting conditions, with the sun going down behind the trees - some way south of west at this time of year.
