Coldharbour is a village up in the hills. This row of cottages stands rather apart from the rest of the settlement, at its northernmost end. The cottage nearest the camera - 'White Cottage' - carries the date 1640. Just across the road, the land falls away steeply, giving a view to the North Downs, some miles to the north. This shot was taken in tricky lighting conditions, with the sun going down behind the trees - some way south of west at this time of year.
