1 Denfield
House at the entrance to a small modern cul-de-sac, originally the lodge to Denfield, a large Victorian house in whose grounds the close was built, and which still survives, subdivided into separate residences (see Image). Note the wall - the terracotta arched tiles are a feature of a number of walls in Dorking.
