West Street
The range of cottages on the left are Grade II listed and are thought to be 15th century in origin, although both have been developed since - the main section has 1626 written in the gable plasterwork, and the right hand section is an 18th century development.

Early daffodils, West Street
These daffodils at the entrance to a house on West Street are always the earliest I see each season - see Image for Christmas Day 2014 and Image for an even earlier appearance in December 2015. Here they are on New Year's Day 2021.

West Street
The three houses are (from left to right):
Old West Street House, a grade II listed late 17th century house, originally timber framed (as can be seen on the end gable) but refronted in the 18th century. It was once a school. For listing particulars see www.historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1189126.
