Temporary ticket office for the Bluebell Railway
For the opening of the new East Grinstead station of the Bluebell Railway, a temporary ticket office was provided just beyond the buffers.

End of the Bluebell line, East Grinstead
This is the East Grinstead terminus of the Bluebell Line, which is adjacent to the main line station. There is a link between the 2 lines behind the camera which allows stock transfer between the national rail system and the heritage railway. The building to the right of the picture looks like an ex water tower that is now used as a general building.

Bluebell Railway East Grinstead Station
Ex SE&CR 0-4-4T H Class locomotive No 263 has just arrived at the Bluebell Railway's East Grinstead terminus. Passengers can alight or join here from the National Rail network at the adjacent NR Station behind the cameraman. The loco will now run forward and back round its coaches before returning to Sheffield Park.

Bluebell Railway station, East Grinstead
The new Bluebell Railway station was opened in March 2013 following reinstatement of the line north from Kingscote. This temporary booking office now has a canopy. (Compare with Image) The link with the national rail network is behind the booking office.

Bluebell Railway platform, East Grinstead
The platform is the first part of creating a station for the Bluebell Railway to, after over fifty years, rejoin the national railway network. Trains from the north already use the platform on special occasions, but the station should go into proper use in 2013 when trains from Sheffield Park will reach here.
