Farncombe Close
A small cul-de-sac off North Common Road. In Wivelsfield's 1843 tithe survey it was part of Image and remained so until the 1920s when it was developed as an extension to Albion Nurseries. Its successor eventually closed in the 1990s and the plot of land was developed as a small estate in the mid 1990s.

Green Road
Viewed from the junction with South Road. The white building on the immediate right is Wheelwrights Cottage named after the trade that operated from the site from the 17th century into the early part of the 20th century. For a while in the 1840s it was also the village shop. Just hidden from view is Hamlins Croft which also had a brief spell as a grocery and was for a time a private school. Beyond are four houses built in the 1960s. The area was once the village green.

The Cock Inn
Dating from the around the end of the 18th century the inn was originally built on the edge of the village green which was used for fairs and as a meeting point, also known early on as the Fighting Cock highlighting one of the activities that went on there. Towards the end of the 20th century it became The Pear Tree but has now reverted back to its original name. The road is North Common Road that links Wivelsfield Green to the commons around North Chailey.
