Wivelsfield Post Office and Village Stores
The stores have been operational since at least the 1870s with the post office added during the following decade. Located on North Common Road near the junction with South Road an area that was once the village green.

Willow House, South Road
An ordinary looking house that is actually the village hairdressers. In the distance South Road meets its northern junction with Eastern Road. A branch of Travis Perkins is on the left and the white weatherboarded residence on the right is Blacksmiths Cottage.

Green Road
Viewed from the junction with South Road. The white building on the immediate right is Wheelwrights Cottage named after the trade that operated from the site from the 17th century into the early part of the 20th century. For a while in the 1840s it was also the village shop. Just hidden from view is Hamlins Croft which also had a brief spell as a grocery and was for a time a private school. Beyond are four houses built in the 1960s. The area was once the village green.
