Baldings Cottages, Green Road
Built between the wars as the ribbon development of Green Road gathered pace. There were six sets to the north of the road and another four further on to the left and were named after an old house in nearby Slugwash Lane by its owner who built them.

Wivelsfield Recreation Ground
Looking northwards towards Baldings Cottages on Green Road. The ground is an amalgamation of four fields according to Wivelsfields 1843 tithe map, Upper and Lower Rail Field, Corner Field and Flat Field and were purchased by a local resident in 1947 to provide a village focal point after the former green had been built upon in the preceding decades.
