The Street, Bolney
Looking northwards from the centre of the old part of the village. The road would have once linked the village to Bolney Common, and later the settlement which grew up after enclosure, through open fields but gradually during the 20th century the two areas of settlement have spread up and down the road and merged together.

New Post Box
RH17 62 Bolney Post Office (Haywards Heath) This appears to be in addition to one of a similar number situated on the side of the old Post office.

Opened in 1861 as a National School and still serving the village over 150 years later. Located to the west of Image and north of Image

Old Post Box
RH17 62 Bolney Post Office. Post Office has closed but Post Box is still open on side wall. Interestingly there is another Post Box with the same number just up The Street!

Former Post Office, The Street, Bolney
Opened in the mid 19th century and closed in February 2009 whereupon the village post office migrated first to Image and since this summer it has been located at Image Now a private residence though the windows displays former adverts for Wills Woodbines.
