The name of the field according to Bolney's 1842 tithe map that is bounded by the River Adur to the north, Stairbridge Lane to the west and Pilgrim Farm to the south.

Dencher field/Quagmire Field
The name of the fields according to Hurstpierpoint's 1842 tithe map that have been merged along with Image to the east to form a larger unit. Dencher field was adjacent to Job's Lane whilst Quagmire Field lay at the northern end. Both names give an idea of how difficult the soil was to cultivate in this part of the Weald.

Entrance to Bolney Grange Business Park
Originally a house called Bolney Grange which was developed into a poultry farm after the Second World War that in turn was converted into industrial units from 1982 onwards. Part of the site now includes the Hickstead Hotel.

River Adur
A view of the eastern branch from Image which rises to the east in Burgess Hill and joins the western branch north of Henfield. This part forms the parish boundary between Twineham and Bolney from this point to the east of Twineham Green.

Clapper Field/Little Clapper Field/Cuckfield Field/Nine Acres
The name of the fields according to Bolney's 1842 tithe map that have been merged to form a larger unit. Clapper Field was i the foreground adjacent to Stairbridge Lane, Nine Acres was at the eastern end next to Wortleford Wood, Little Clapper Field was in the middle to the south whilst Cuckfield Field was in the middle to the north. To the north is Image The image has been taken looking into the sun and as such is picking up the still rising mist from the ground which are highlighted by the sun's rays.
