Brooklands Pond
The reed covered pond lies between the lower village of the Bolnore development and the remnant of Pierce's Wood. The pond seems to have been made as part of the development as it is not marked on any old maps. The house is part of Whitebeam Mews.

Pierce's Wood
Part of the local nature reserve run by the Friends of Ashenground and Bolnore Woods which takes in the remnants of all woods removed to make way for the Bolnore village development. This section was never part of the ancient woodland but has been named as a reminder.

Permissive Footpath, Pierce's Wood
The footpath runs from the lower village of the Bolnore development to Ashenground Bridge skirting the eastern side of a local nature reserve, the remnant of woodlands left after the rest were removed for the construction of the new estate, and the railway line.
